From Grade 4-Grade 8, we used to go camping at Brimley State Park.
I remember one rainy day when I was about 10, my cousins, kids camping at sites close-by and myself, all gathered at the picnic table under the trailer awning and played games to pass the time.
We used to play “Pass the Ace” with nickels donated by my aunts, uncles and my mom’s change purse.
If I won, I’d get baseball cards and trade with my cousins and camp neighbours. Those were some of the best times, to be honest.
